I started downloading a game. It reached 9GB out of 12GB total. I paused the download and shutdown my computer to go outside, but when I logged back in again in Steam, the game's download reset to 0GB complete. How can I continue the 9GB finished download?

Steam Reset Game Settings
Nov 11, 2015 - Now (after 8 hours) I restarted steam and download restarted as if nothing had been downloaded!!!! I want to cry. Files are present in. With its extensive Tour of Duty campaign, a near-limitless number of skirmish modes, updates and new content for Counter-Strike's award-winning multiplayer game play, plus over 12 bonus single.
Cyberoam client for mac download. I've seen this issue come up pretty frequently lately. But the good news is there is a work around.
You'll need to check for the 'Local Content' of the game in your Steam Library folder. If these files are here and are relatively the same size as your downloaded portion (9 GB) you should be able to recover them by moving the files from your steam downloading folder to your steam common folder and restarting steam. This will force steam to try to install the game, realize the game isn't finishing downloading, and fetch the remaining pieces.

Whenever I download a game and before it's finished, if I shutdown my computer, the download gets reset and I have to download the whole thing again.
Can someone tell me why this is happening and if there is a workaround for it?

This is happening because the partial-game is being downloaded into cache, and upon completion, its moved onto your system.
When you restart your PC, cache and temp files are cleared, thus losing the games download progress. Crestron dmps 300 c user manual.
EDIT: Im not sure if there is a workaround, if there is, I wouldnt be familiar with it.

EDIT2 Try this
Load Steam
From the Library section, right-click on the game and select Properties from the menu.Select the Local files tab and click the Verify integrity of game cache.. button.

Here's how I got it to work.
Steam Download Reset To Zero Download
https://renewknowledge522.weebly.com/hr-block-2016-download-mac.html. 1.) Locate the folder of the game you are trying to install that got reset, if it's not there, let the game download re-download like maybe 50mbs or so, and it should show up. Crysis 2 mac download free.
2.) Go onto Program Files/Steam/Steamapps/downloading and you will see a bunch of files in there that were left from the download that stopped. If you are dling more than 1 game at once you may have to sort through them, if not, take all of those files and move them onto the corresponding game folder.
3.) Go onto your library and verify the integrity of that games cache, then start the download again and it should go back up to where you left off.
